Tolkien Reading Day

March 25th is the day Sauron was defeated and it marks the fall of Barad-dur. Oh, and it's also Tolkien Reading day. On this day, enjoy curling up and reading your favorite Tolkien book!

Happy Birthday Aragorn!

There's also another special birthday in the Fandom world today. It's the birthday of Aragorn, one of the few characters in the Tolkien Universe who has an exact birth date. Anyway, Happy Birthday Aragorn!

#Fandompocalypse

Today is Fandompocalypse day

The 9th Fandom Day of Christmas!

On the 9th day of Christmas, my Fandom gave to me...

9 Fellowship Members!

8 Potter Movies,

7 Half-Bloods,

6 Avengers,

5 Fighting Factions!

4 Kings and Queens,

3 Trilogies,

2 District Tributes,

And a Boy with a Destiny!

Sorry for the long wait between posts! As promised I'll be posting again today to make up for the day I missed. Don't forget to check out the Lord of the Rings Christmas Post from last year for some ideas to make your Christmas a little more middle earth-y:

Merry Christmas Hobbits, Elves, Dwarves, and Men! (But not Orcses)

Nerdflakes!

Hey Everyone! So we get 2 posts today! On December 12th, or Nerdflakes Day you decorate your house with nerdy snowflakes. Read the picture below to get a better idea of what that means:

This could be done by printing fandom pictures and making snowflakes out of them, but there also are a lot of cool fandom snowflake patterns that can be found by googling for them. Here is an example from the Doctor Who Fandom:

Fandom Day!

Hey Fandoms! Sorry for posting so late, but today is Fandom Day!

Happy Birthday Bilbo and Frodo Baggins!

It's September 22nd, which means it's the birthday of two of our favorite hobbits!

So sit back, relax, and celebrate like a hobbit!

Here's a hobbit hole cake tutorial if anyone is willing to spend a few hours committed to it:

Then there's also this much simpler one:

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Fandom Valentines Day!

So, Valentines Day is just around the corner and while I'm not doing anything for Valentines day, I thought it'd be fun to find some Fandom Themed Valentines Cards. Here are some of the ones I found:

Here's one I came up with on my own:

Another Awesome Fandom Idea for Valentines Day is to melt chocolate chips into fandom theme molds and make fandom chocolates!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Fandom New Year!

So, New Years is coming up and I think the easiest way to have a fandom themed New Years is to have an all day/night movie marathon (or readathon if there's only a book). I'm not suggesting that you try and get no sleep (maybe I am), but it could be fun! Regardless of what you decide to do, Happy New Years!
