2. Gaurdians of Ga'Hoole: The Rise of a Legend (Highly recommended for someone who's read the series)

3. Lost Tales of Ga'hoole (also highly recommended)

4. For owl fans in general, an owl calendar! (I've had one of these for the past year and I loved it!)

5. And here's a really cute owl shirt!

6. A cute Owl mug

7. A really cool snowy owl shirt

8. A great horned owl shirt!

9. For the nerdy owl lover how about this book! (I own it and I've got to say that it has some pretty cool owl pictures)

That's all for now. I won't be able to get on tomorrow, so I'll be posting tomorrow's post later today. Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy Hoo-lidays!

Christmas long long ago in a galaxy far far away . . .

Merry Star Wars Christmas! The season holds so much opportunity! You can decorate Star Destroyers! Build Snow Clones! And hope that your Death Star ornament doesn't destroy anything on the tree!

Anyway, besides all the other awesome Christmas things, I'm excited because of something very special coming out next year! Star Wars 7! I was a little worried and skeptical when I first heard about it since we all know how well 1, 2, and 3 came out -_-.
But the trailer has raised my hopes a little!

Anyway, here's an awesome gift idea list:

1. The complete Star Wars saga!

3. This one's pretty awesome, it's an R2-D2 measuring cup set!

8. Now this is more something you'd get before Christmas. It's a Lego Star Wars Advent calendar. It's expensive, but awesome!

Alright, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and may the force be with you!

Christmas in Camelot!

No, I am not referring to the Magic Tree House book by that name, I was just trying to get a little variation in my post titles. Anyway! Happy Merlin Christmas!

Now a list of present ideas! First though, I'd like to give you my present, of being able to see Merlin's adorable smile on this post:

Anyway, back to gift ideas:

1. What would Merlin do? Probably get this T-shirt.

2. Here's a cool Merlin Dragon Figurine.

3. Merlin: A Servant of Two Masters DS

4. A Merlin Wallet looks pretty cool.

Happy Alagaesian Christmas!

So, for those of you were trying to figure out which of the many fandom with dragons I was going to post about today, here's your answer!

I have never read this series myself, but my little brother is obsessed with it, so I know a little bit about the fandom.

One simple way to make your Christmas more Alagaesian is to serve ham and call it nagra.

Here's a list of gift ideas:

1. Eragon's Guide to Alagaesia. This is what my brother got for Christmas last year and he loved it.

2. You could get someone a new boxed set of the books!

3. Eragon playing cards, in a cool tin box!

4. Oh! Eragon Uno, that's pretty cool.

5. And, maybe for a younger Eragon fan, a blue plush dragon!

You could also get them the movie if you wanted. I heard that the movie was horrible though, so it's probably not a good idea.

Anyway, Merry Christmas! I'll see you tomorrow with a Merlin Christmas post!

Happy Sherlock Christmas!

As promised! Here is your Sherlock Christmas post!

So, to get into the Sherlock Holiday Spirit, why not try some British recipes this Christmas?

A list of gift ideas:

Well you probably can't give someone that (and you really shouldn't), but here are some other ideas:

1. Anyone who is Sherlocked will love this T-shirt!

2. The Sherlock edition of Cluedo is an awesome gift, though it's a little expensive.

3. Don't Talk Out Loud You Lower the IQ of the Whole Street, T-shirt.

4. Calendars are great Christmas gifts because a new year is almost about to begin! If someone needs a new calendar, and they are fans of Sherlock, than maybe this Cumberbatch Calendar would be the perfect gift!

5. Blue Sherlock Scarf! Perfect for Sherlock fans in cold areas.

Okay! I'm not going to tell you what the theme is tomorrow, so try to figure out what it is yourself (hint, it involves dragons)! Anyway, I still need a few suggestions for fandoms, so please comment any you'd like to see.
Alright, that's all I have for now, but before I go I'd just like to say . . .

Happy Narnian Christmas!

Some people don't like winter. They say it's cold, dreary, and they just can't wait for summer again, but I think, in the words of Lucy Pevensie, . . .

And She's absolutely right! I have wonderful memories of iceskating at least once each winter, and having major snowball fights with my family every time it snowed (which was only once a year in Tokyo, but still). Unfortunately, I'm currently in Hawaii, so no iceskating or snow, but I've still got Christmas!

Christmas is my favorite time of year and to help me get into the Fandom Holiday spirit, I will be writing posts about different fandoms counting up to Christmas. Today is December first, so it's the first day I will be doing it. If you haven't guessed already, this post is themed on Narnia. I have a pretty long list of ideas for each day, but I still have one or two days for which I couldn't think of anything. If you have any ideas, feel free to comment and tell me. Now! Back to Narnia:

I hope you have a very merry Christmas! Next time it snows, put on your coat, step outside and think of the Pevensie children as you watch the snow come down.

And I just had to add this in. It’s only one fleeting part in the movie, but I love it every time.

I will also be adding recipes and other suggestions on how you can make your Christmas a little more fandom! Here is a website that has several narnia recipes that are great for December!

Here’s a recipe for Turkish Delight. I have never made turkish delight on my own, but I have tried it before and I can tell you, it’s amazing! Don’t eat too much though, they’re fairly sweet.

Okay! The last thing I'm going to add is a list of possible gift ideas if you have a friend/relative who likes Narnia:

1. You could get them an awesome new boxed set of the series! It's a little expensive, but if they're books are in tatters from age and use (like mine), I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

2. Perhaps if you have a young Narnian fan in the house, you could get them King Peter's helmet and dagger!

3. But why just stop with his helmet and dagger? You could get King Peter's sword as well (or just the sword, and not the other things)!

4. This ones a little expensive, but worth it. It's a beautiful model of the Dawn Treader!

Well, that looks like all for now, I can't wait to post again tomorrow (the post's on Sherlock tomorrow). Till then, I hope you have a very Fandom Christmas!

Fandom Thanksgiving

So! Halloween has come and gone (I hope you all had a Happy Halloween!) and now there's another holiday on the horizon. Luckily Thanksgiving is an easy Holiday to incorporate fandoms into. All you need to do it make fandom themed foods! I'll be posting about foods from several different fandoms before Thanksgiving, but today, I'm just going to focus on three.

Harry Potter Fandom:

Yay Potterheads! Technically theses books took place in England, so it might feel weird associating some of these foods with thanksgiving, but it's all for the fandoms, so it's fine. There are plenty of Harry Potter foods that you can sneak on the table at Thanksgiving. Here are a few of them:

  • Pumpkin Pasties
  • Pumpkin juice
  • Butterbeer
  • Treacle Tart

There are many other recipes as well and they all can be found here, at http://www.mugglenet.com/fans-fun/rosmertas-recipes/

The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Fandom:

This fandom has a lot of food options! Even regular thanksgiving food can be added to this theme (Mashed Po-Tay-Toes anyone?). So, here are some Ideas:

  • Seed cake
  • Salad
  • Pork Pies
  • Pickles
  • Cheese
  • Mince Pies

In fact you could have a complete Unexpected Party themed Thanksgiving! Here is a website that has a menu and recipes for the Unexpected Party Food:

Percy Jackson Fandom:

This has got to be one of the easiest fandoms to make food for! All you need to do is add blue food coloring to pretty much anything! This works best with white foods such as mashed potatoes. You can also make a blue pie by adding blue food coloring to the crust and making blueberry pie. You could try to make blue pumpkin pie as well, but I’m not sure how well that will turn out.
